Eyelid is a screening program featuring innovative films dedicated to women's rights. Each session is followed by artist talks and panel discussions with directors, artists, and guests.

Eyelid 8 and 9 will take place over one weekend, honoring Bahareh Lellahi and "Woman, Life, Freedom". The event will include artist talks and panel discussions, with filmmakers Sara Rajaei joining from the Netherlands and Setareh Samavi from Belgium.

Invited Artist: Sara Rajaei is an Iranian-Dutch visual artist and filmmaker. She holds a BA in visual arts and was a resident at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam. In her work, she studies the notion of time by reflecting on the absence of image, memory psychology, oral history, narrative techniques, and physical/psychological space. Her films have screened at de Appel Arts Center, Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin, Hong Kong International Film Festival, International Film Festival Rotterdam, Rencontres Internationales, Art Brussels and the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rijeka, Croatia. She is currently developing her first feature film.

Invited Artist: Setareh Samavi
Born in Southern Iran, 1981, Setareh achieved a BA in Film Directing from Sooreh University- Tehran. She has gained different experiences in the cinema industry in Iran, as director, editor and production manager. There she has won couple of awards for her short films as director and writer. Moving to Jordan in 2009 she achieved her MFA in Producing and Editing films. Later in 2016 Setareh has immigrated to Europe to complete her other MA in Documentary Directing in DOCNOMADS joint masters and has been working as director & production manager in different production companies in Belgium.
